NABR 15s Win Districts

NABR 15s - 2010

North Adams 15 year-old all stars beat Pittsfield 12-6 in game one of the district tournament. 
Max Quinn pitched five innings and got the win. Josh Fortier came in and closed. Anthony Traversa pitched well but took the loss for Pittsfield. Ryan Ouimet went four for four with three doubles and a walk. Quinn, Robert Jutras, Andrew Leitch, Ben Alley, Nolan Bird and Derek Romejko all had RBIs. Jordan barbaratta had two hits for Pittsfield.

North Adams 15s beat Adams 7 to 5 in the second game.
Robert Jutras pitched a complete game to get the win for NA. Alex Bush pitched five innings and took the loss. Jutras also had two hits including a triple and two RBIs. Derek Romejko, Andrew Leitch, Eric Leitch, Ryan Ouimet and Max Quinn all had hits for North Adams.

North Adams 15s go 3-0 to win Districts.

End-of-Season Picnic

The North Adams Babe Ruth end-of-season picnic is scheduled for Thursday, July 1^st  from 6-8 at Alcombright Field.

The League will provide pizza, drinks and the burgers/dogs from the concession stand at no cost. It would be great if families could bring sides, salads and desserts.

We will hold a few skill competitions, including…

• Fastest pitch
• Hitting
• Throwing accuracy
• Basepad speed

Adams Co-Op Takes 2010 Championship

Adams Co-Op won the 2010 North Adams Babe Ruth Championship with another come-from-behind victory in Game 2.

Adams Co-Op scored two runs in the seventh to win by a final score of 3-2.

Adams Co-Op Takes Game 1 of Finals, 4-3

Adams Co-Op won the first game of the NABR final series by a score of 4-3.

Game 2 follows on Wednesday. Game 3 will be played on Thursday if necessary.

NABR Playoffs

The regular season is over and the playoff seedings are set. Refer to the Standings page for the final regular season results.

Games on Sunday are at 10:00 and 12:30, teams will be determined after the Saturday games.

Note:
In all tournaments if both teams have the same record the pool play tie breaker will be used. This is located on page 24 of the Official Babe Ruth Rule Book.
If both teams have the same record going into the finals only one game will need to be played. A coin flip will determine the home team. In the championship game if a team is undefeated they will be the home team, and if a second game is need the loser of the first game will be the home team for the second game.

Please note that each All Star player will be required to pay a $20 fee for participation. This covers about 1/2 the cost of All Starts. The remainder is covered by the League.
