NABR Important Dates

North Adams Babe Ruth would like to welcome new and returning players and families.

By now, new players aged 13-15 should have heard from their team’s manager. If you haven’t heard yet, you can email me at amunzer@treeage.com. Managers will contact all players when they are ready to start practice. We still have not received enough registrations for players aged 16-18 to set tryout dates.

There are a few important dates coming up…

On Monday, March 29th at 6:30 pm, we will hold a Parents Meeting at the NA American Legion (at 91 American Legion Drive). This will give you a chance to meet with your coaches. Please return the cash for spaghetti supper tickets at that meeting.

On Wednesday, April 7th from 4:00-7:00 pm, we will hold the Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser at the Eagles Hall (Curran Highway, North Adams). Please try to sell all tickets as this is an important fundraiser for the League. All players are expected to work at the supper at the following times:
- 4-5 Elks Lodge and Hoosac Bank
- 5-6 Adams Co-Op, Barr & Barr and Tatro Contracting
- 6-7 iBerkshires and Greylock Club

Sunday, May 9th will be Opening Day for 13-15 year-olds.

We will provide additional information at the Parents Meeting.

NABR Signups/Tryouts

There has been a change to NABR tryouts. The time for 13-15 year-olds has been extended for individuals who have hockey conflicts. The tryouts for 16-18 year-olds have been postponed to allow more time for players in that age group to register. We will accept registrations for both groups during the tryout times on 3/20 and 3/21.

Players 13-15 that did not play NABR last year must attend at least one of the tryouts. No registrations for players 13-15 will be accepted after the second tryout.

Players 16-18 will be allowed to register beyond 3/21. Tryout dates for players 16-18 have not yet been set.

Tryouts for 13-15 players and registration for 16-18 players will be held at the Williams College Field House on…
- Saturday, 3/20 – 12:30 to 3:30 pm
- Sunday, 3/21 – 9:00 to noon
